My name is Dotty. I bake and decorate every cookie by hand in Frederick, MD.

My cookies are made with fresh, quality ingredients to order. They're lightly sweetened and have a wonderful buttery vanilla flavor.

The cookies are covered in vanilla royal icing glaze. My icing isn't as crunchy as traditional royal icing. It has a softer, fabulous texture. My cookies taste as good as they look!

Everyone that sees my cookies in person has the nicest things to say about the designs. What always surprises me is that they're very often surprised that the cookies taste so good! I've been told (more than once) that these are the best sugar cookies one has ever tasted!

Creating gorgeous, fun cookie designs for your special occasion or loved one is important to me, but if they're not equally fabulous to eat, there's just no point. Rest assured that my cookies are meant to be eaten or better yet - devoured. Please enjoy the designs, then dig in!

I am fully licensed with the Health Department in Frederick Co, Maryland. I bake in an approved commercial kitchen inside Piece O' Cake in Frederick, MD. I don't have retail hours but am open for custom order pick ups (usually on Friday mornings).

Mixing, rolling, cutting, baking, decorating is a very labor intensive craft. Many hours, over a few days, are spent on just one dozen Sugar Dot Cookies.

Mini Cookies are usually $2 - $2.50 each.
Small cookies are usually $3 to $4.
Medium cookies are usually $4 to $6.
Large cookies are usually $6 to $8.

Please note: The above is a general guideline. Cookies don't fit neatly into size categories. Prices depend on both size AND complexity of design / personalization.

Cookie orders - Platters, Favors, and Cake Toppers - are available for local pick up, by appointment (usually on Friday mornings), at Sugar Dot Cookies located inside Piece O' Cake at 2401 Whittier Drive, Suite C, Frederick, MD 21702. Delivery to Washington, DC and Montgomery County, MD are rarely available. Please contact me for delivery charge.

Individually bagged cookies and Cookies in a Jar are available for shipping anywhere in the continental United States.

Minimum order is 24 regular-sized cookies or 48 minis.

Each cookie design/shape is available with a minimum of 6 cookies each except for the following, available with an order:
Message Cookie personalized with "thank you", "happy birthday", etc. - available individually
Large Number or Letter cookies - available individually
Mini cookies are sold in multiples of 12.

Bagged favors are made up of one regular sized cookie or two to three mini cookies per bag. An additional .25 per bag is added to the price on the gallery pages.

Cake Toppers are cookies on short sticks, ready for you to insert them into your own cakes or cupcakes. There's an additional $5 per dozen cookies to turn them into Cake Toppers.

Because my cookies aren't sold individually for immediate consumption, I do not need to collect Maryland sales tax.

I do not offer discounts on large orders.

Payment:
Your cookie order is not placed until all details are worked out and non-refundable 50% deposit or full payment is received.
Payment may be made by personal check or credit card.
Credit cards are processed securely online through Wave. You'll receive an email invoice.
If ordering months in advance, a deposit will be taken with the final balance due two weeks prior to pick up/shipping.

Please order and make payment as early as possible to secure your date.

Deposits and Full-Payments are non-refundable.
All orders placed are final.
